What's New

New tools, guides and improvements, newest first. Everything still runs in your browser.

  1. Word to PDF: one problem element no longer stops the conversion

If a single picture, table, equation or font can’t be converted, that element is drawn as an image or left out and you are told about it — the rest of the PDF is still produced. Also in this release: no blank pages around section breaks, shapes sized relative to the page, and a fix for a crash on some tables of contents with dotted tab leaders.

  2. Word to PDF: your fonts, tabs and footnotes

Uses the fonts embedded in the document, fonts installed on your computer, or font files you pick, and tells you when a font is missing. Tab stops and table-of-contents dot leaders are laid out the way Word does, footnotes and endnotes sit where Word puts them, and superscripts stay on their line.

  3. Word to PDF: equations and shapes

Equations are drawn the way Word draws them, with a selectable text layer. Shapes, text boxes and diagrams are drawn as sharp vectors instead of being left blank, and theme colours and table borders come out as the document declares them.

  4. New: Word to PDF

Convert a .docx to PDF entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded. Our own conversion engine keeps real, selectable text, Word’s line and page breaks, headers, footers and page numbers.

  5. Four new PDF guides

Step-by-step guides for merging PDFs, password-protecting a PDF, filling out a PDF form, and converting a PDF to JPG.

  6. Five audio guides

Converting WAV to MP3, compressing audio, removing vocals from a song, choosing an audio format, and changing speed without changing pitch.

  7. Developer tools and Image to Text

A JSON formatter, hash generator, URL encoder / decoder, JWT decoder and UUID generator, plus a dedicated Image to Text (OCR) tool.

  8. Text tools

Word counter, case converter, line-break remover, text-to-slug and a lorem ipsum generator.

  9. Ten image tools

Change a background, add a border, round corners or crop to a circle, make favicons and profile pictures, pick colours and build palettes, make memes, watermark images, generate QR codes, and encode files as Base64.
