Edit PDF

Place text, signatures, and images on any page — your files never leave your device.

Filling in a form, adding a signature, or fixing a typo used to mean printing the PDF, writing on it, and scanning it back. This editor skips that entirely. Drop your PDF, add text boxes in any font and size, draw a signature directly on the page, embed an image, or paint white rectangles over content you want to redact — then download the finished file. Everything is handled locally using pdf-lib; the annotated PDF is assembled in your browser and handed straight to you.

How to Use

  1. 1

Drop your PDF onto the upload area. The first page renders immediately; use the arrows to navigate between pages.

  2. 2

Select a tool from the floating toolbar: Text, Signature, Image, or Whiteout.

  3. 3

Click anywhere on the page to place the element. Click once to select and drag; double-click a text box to edit its content.

  4. 4

Click "Download PDF" to burn all overlays into the file and save it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I edit existing text inside the PDF?

PDF text is embedded as a rendering instruction, not editable characters. To correct existing text: use the Whiteout tool to cover it, then place a new text box with the corrected content on top.

What types of annotations can I add?

Text boxes (with font, size, bold, and italic controls), freehand signatures drawn with your mouse or finger, embedded PNG/JPEG images, and white fill rectangles for redaction.

Are the edits permanent after downloading?

Yes. Downloading bakes all overlays into the PDF using pdf-lib. The file works in any standard PDF viewer and the annotations cannot be separated from the page.

Will the file size increase significantly?

Text and signature overlays add negligible data. Embedded images contribute more depending on their resolution, but the increase is usually modest.
