This tool runs FFmpeg directly in your browser using WebAssembly — there is no server, no account, and no upload. Each audio file is read from your disk and decoded to a common format so files of different types and formats can be combined together, then the combined clip is encoded to your chosen output format. Nothing is ever sent over the network — you can confirm this yourself by watching the Network tab in your browser's developer tools while merging runs.
